SUMMARY The Engineering Business Analyst plays a vital role in the overall creation of requirements, documentation, and development of current and future software products. This position is highly interactive with the Lines of Business and participates in the entire product development cycle including; requirements gathering and documentation, collaborating with business, product, and marketing teams to understand customer needs and assisting development and quality engineering teams translate requirements into actionable, testable user stories. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following Other duties may be assigned. Gather and document requirements from both internal and external customers Assist with identifying workflow and process gaps and issues Organize and conduct requirement reviews with stakeholders and development teams Work with project managers and their teams to ensure sprint and release plans are successfully executed Drive a tenacious focus on quality in validating that what the team is building will meet the needs and demands of our customers Participate in and foster a working environment where creativity, innovation, ownership and teamwork are encouraged and rewarded QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Background in Art and Design a strong plus. A minimum of 3 years experience in business analysis, technical writing or related fields; requirement design experience strongly preferred. COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES) Experience in a dynamic, fluid and exhilarating AGILE working environment Industry experience in IT enabled healthcare, animal health, and pharmaceutical sales is highly desirable Hands on management of eCommerce, mobile, social media, and other consumer facing technology products Exceptional communication, presentation, active listening, analytical, and problem solving skills Ability to think critically and creatively to contribute in a team environment A pervasive acumen for delivering quality with demonstrable evidence Strong timemanagement skills; excellent follow up skills required Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal and external management and work collaboratively with interdepartmental teams to achieve desired results
