Systems Administrator

Description

Job Responsibilities Provide technical support for primarily Windowsbased (2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016) servers in a mixed physical and virtual environment (Web, Application, and Database / SQL Servers).
Provide technical support for Cisco and Citrixbased network devices (firewalls, switches, load balancers).
Provide technical support for Storage Arrays (Pure, EMC, and NetApp).
Install, maintain,
Ensure system integrity.
Maintain data, software and hardware security and emergency procedures.
Maintain contact with end users to maximize network/systems utilization.
Perform 2nd level systems support for end users.
Resolve moderately complex technical problems.
Serve as technical contributor in areas such as Active Directory, Server Virtualization, Security and Compliance, Upgrades and Migrations.
Monitor necessary system backups.
Perform daily system checks.
Job Qualifications BachelorLevel degree in a technical field (MIS, CS, Engineering, etc), or 4 years additional experience.
25 years of systems administration experience in a mixed virtual and physical systems environment.
Experience with Windows servers, Firewall/Security appliance configuration, patch management, backup/recovery, and antivirus.
Experience performing server installations, configurations and support.
Above average analytical and organizational skills.
Advanced knowledge of computer technology systems, SANs and network equipment.
Great communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be flexible and willing to work rotating oncall shifts as assigned.
Must be available to provide scheduled services during the evening and overnight hours, as necessary.
