Windows Systems Administrator

Description

JOB SUMMARY Windows System Admin Manage systems and infrastructure components for missioncritical Server/Desktop computing environments under occasional guidance.
Responsible for systems administration, networking, performance tuning, monitoring and capacity planning services while adhering to enterprise ITIL process and procedures.
Build infrastructure to support business environment. Enforce policies and procedures for maintaining the security and integrity of the system and ensure the system meets availability and disaster recovery requirements. Ability to solve medium to complex problems. Platform is a WinAuto automation environment so past experience with RPA bot platforms will be prioritized during eligible candidate selection.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Administer and manage Windows systems of moderate to medium complexity all aspects of planning, setup, deployment, patch updates and maintenance.
Provide 24x7 Oncall support
Understanding of VMware vSphere, Microsoft System Center Configuration and HyperV environments.
Ensure adherence to relevant security policies and regulatory governances.
Mitigate hardware/software issues, performance bottlenecks and overall system health concerns.
Provide technical guidance to user community. Support and implements business computing environments.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES Experience with Win Automation a big plus. Successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of Windows based servers and desktop units, troubleshooting support issues, installing new OS and software, and supporting several ancillary systems. Candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work under limited supervision.
This support will be on premise at the Sprint Campus in Overland Park, KS.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and 3 years relevant experience
