Data Analyst

Description

The Data Analyst will be a member of a team that is responsible for effectively (quality) and efficiently (cost and speed) leveraging cloud services platform like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Agile/DevOps practices to build, manage and support infrastructure and platforms for Cardinal Health Pharma Modernization (PMOD) program. The primary responsibility of the Data Analyst is to prepare, manage, process and analyze metrics (like Cloud, Agile, DevOps) related data and make it valuable and useful for operational and decisionmaking purposes. This role will work closely with other members of the program to create and present highly useful information.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Use knowledge of program/team/project objectives to understand current opportunities and identify new opportunities where data can be leveraged to achieve the desired benefits
Understand current data, processes and availability, and how current data processes/tools/solutions can be leveraged to achieve the desired benefits
Prepare and analyze data Cloud, Agile, DevOps, Network, etc. This includes locating (from primary and secondary sources like AWS, GCP, Splunk, JIRA, MS Project and Excel documents), profiling, cleansing, extracting, mapping, importing, transforming, validating or modeling
Implement and maintain data management solution
Apply query, data exploration and transformation, basic statistical methods and visualization techniques to create easy to understand and presentable insights on the data. This includes leveraging solutions like Tableau.
Perform validation to confirm the accuracy of the information created
Interpret results of analysis, identify trends and issues, and develop recommendations to support program/team/project objectives
Create and manage dashboards to communicate complex information so that it is easy to understand
Influence others on the team/project/program to take action and make effective and costefficient decisions based on the useful information provided. This includes rightsizing of the Cloud infrastructure.
Work with program/team/project management to prioritize information needs
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's in computer science, Information Management or related field
Proven working experience as a Data Analyst especially with Technology/Infrastructure Architecture teams.
Strong knowledge of and experience with data management and reporting solutions like Tableau and MySQL.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Skills in Microsoft standard desktop applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project.
Strong collaboration, communication, multitasking and organization skills
The following qualifications/skills would be helpful but not required Experience as a Data Analyst on teams following Agile and DevOps practices
Experience as a Data Analyst on Cloud platforms like AWS and GCP
Experience with networklevel (capacity, utilization, telecom) analysis
