Description

Responsibilities Designs and develops application solutions using .NET Framework
Maintains and enhances existing WPF/XBAP, Web Forms and MVC applications
Supports and develops WCF/SOAP web services within the EMSI enterprise
Analyzes and documents business needs
Optimizes processes in order to reduce ongoing IT Support costs
Troubleshoots IT related application issues
Requirements BS in Computer Science or related field
7+ years of experience with web development in .NET Framework 2.0+
Proficient in ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, XML/XHTML, CSS, SQL, and WCF
Strong SQL query knowledge
Solid OO design and development concepts
Understanding of unit testing
Relational database design concepts
Good time management skills
MS Office expertise
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to selfteach and learn via on the job training
Ability to understand and adhere to all EMSI IT policies and procedures in their entirety, as written in the IT Security Standards and Control policy
Preferred Skills Exposure to MVC 3.0+, AJAX and JQuery, WPF/XAML, Entity Framework 4.0+, as well as Linq to SQL/Objects
Mobile development for iOS
Ability to think outside the box on solutions
Solid understanding of Windows OS and Networking Concepts
MS Visio experience
Some testdriven development background
Exposure to working in an AGILE development environment
