Lead ETL QA

Description

The Quality Assurance Lead will be a handson quality assurance member and will also lead junior team members. This person will be responsible for developing detailed test scripts based on software functional specifications, as well as executing those scripts.
Developing and Executing QA Test Plan Will develop and execute QA test plan for running BI Projects. This will include data setup, coordination for data refreshes, meeting deadlines, test script automation and innovation, documentation as well as the development of white box and black box test scripts.
System and Regression Testing Will execute the testing of ETLs end to end and also simulating regression loads on various environments to ensure data is in sync with the requirements. QA Analyst III will be responsible for documenting overall test strategy and implementing the same.
Process Development Contribute to implementation and ongoing improvement of company's development Quality Assurance process. As a senior member of quality assurance analysis team, contribute to lead project Quality Assurance process development and offer opinions on readiness of projects to move on to the next stage of development.
Team Leadership Lead junior team members as team leader on large projects.
System Enhancements and Innovation Actively develop new methodologies and system enhancements to add to existing processes and streamlining.
Qualifications 8 years' experience with common testing tools, PLSQL/SQL, ETL tools, BI Reporting tools like BO, Crystal Reports, Tableau, database architecture and load and scalability testing for GUI applications
Must have at least 8 years of experience testing applications relying on a RDBMS and web based technology.
Minimum 5+ years of project management/Agile/software product quality assurance/coordination experience.
Bachelors' Degree
Job Requirements Must be well versed with Data Warehousing principles and best practices.
demonstrated record of success in developing and executing formal release testing for high quality, complex software products.
Strong Business Analysis with background in banking and The Guide Project Management methodologies.
Understanding of programming in Unix, Data services scripting or any other similar scripting.
Familiar with standard product development life cycle (PDLC), CVS and defecttracking procedures preferably using TFS and ALM.
Must be capable of providing constructive feedback to software design reviews.
Experience with enduser problem resolution and user documentation is essential.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
