Fuse Administrator

Description

Responsibilities
The Fuse Administrator will be responsible for the production design, configuration and administration of the RedHat Fuse Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and associated modules. This will include determining which components should be installed in a production setting; designing and implementing a multisite high availability topology; documenting the operational standards for realtime monitoring and management; and defining a hotdeploy code promotion process. This role will be focused on administering the Fuse Service Bus and associated components, and will not require application development. The role would also involve coordinating with the operations monitoring team, defining log messages and potentially developing operational dashboards and metrics.
Requirements
Experience administering RedHat Fuse ESB in a Production environment, preferably on Linux
Experience with Apache Karaf, Camel, Fabric and ActiveMQ
Experience with Production support for critical systems (24/7 support model), including backup and recovery, performance tuning and capacity planning
Experience with Unix commands and scripting, e.g. ksh, vi, perl, various OS commands
Experience with secure deployments, including certificate management
Experience with hot deploy code promotions and migrations, i.e. no downtime deployments
Experience with design and implementation of multisite High Availability solutions
Experience with container technology, such as Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift
Exposure to messaging and integration patterns, including the use of an ESB for middleware
Exposure to SOAP and RESTful web services deployment and configuration
Exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements, e.g. SOX, NERC CIP
Ability to provide technical support to the developers and testers
