AMS/ Field Engineering

Description

Must have
System administration experience of managing environments based on the following legacy
OS. At least one of the following SUN Solaris, versions 2.x 10
HPUX, versions 10.x 11.x
OpenVMS for VAX, Alpha, and Integrity, versions 4.5 8.4
Expertise in programming in C and/or C++
Database knowledge RDB, MySQL, Oracle
Experience with developing emulators (QEMU, SIMH) or working across CPU architectures
Expertise on Linux core including developing drivers for Linux and network technologies
Technical project management skills
An ability to work independently, delivering solutions and ensure customer satisfaction
Would be a plus
Software/hardware migration projects experience
Troubleshooting experience in mixed Windows/Linux/Solaris/HPUX/VMS/Tru64/SAN
environment
System and network administration for Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 (with
understanding of system components and services) experience
System and network administration for Linux (with understanding of system components and
services) experience
Understanding and system management experience of virtual environments (VMware,
HyperV, etc.)
Experience with UNIX/Linux scripting tools and techniques (shell, perl, etc)
Understanding and system management experience of LAN network technologies
Understanding and system management experience of storage technologies (SAN/NAS/iSCSI)
Understanding and management experience with various application stacks Oracle, Sybase,
RDB, etc.
