Job Description Minimum 10 years of experience as Oracle DBA & Oracle Golden Gate Administrator is responsible for installation and configuration of GoldenGate 12.x Replication as well as administering all aspects of the Oracle 12c RAC DBs hosting environment. Strong hands on experience with platform migration from older oracle version to latest oracle and MS SQL to Oracle
Communication Skills Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Reasoning Ability Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent team player qualifications and individual contributor.
Primary Skills Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Installing and configuring Oracle Golden Gate heterogeneous environments (MS SQL Server, Oracle, UDB, DB2)
Extensive experience in Oracle Golden Gate replication, database server configuration, installation and troubleshooting Golden Gate extract and replicate issues
First hand experiences in setting up Oracle Golden Gate oneway, twoway/bidirectional (nice to have). Activetoactive and activetopassive data replication with conflict detection and resolutions.
Trouble shooting and performance tuning Golden Gate replications
Configure error handling for restart, logging, production support and status reporting in Golden Gate
Physical standby, Data Guard configuration, Maintenance and support for DR activities
Install and configure OGG monitoring and alerting using OEM or Golden Gate Director (preferred)
Database level Handling Performance Tuning Activity using OEM (AWR/ADDM),Database space management, security Patches.
Extensive skills in upgrading various Oracle versions, configuring in RAC high available environment.
Deep understanding Oracle Golden Gate internal mechanism, OGG new features such as Integrated capture, native DDL capture, coordinate apply mode, multithreaded replicate.
Deep understanding Oracle Golden Gate internal mechanism, OGG new features such as Integrated capture, native DDL capture, coordinate apply mode, multithreaded replicate.
Experience in writing OGG lag monitoring scripts and configure OGG monitoring plugin in OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) 12c.
Setting up High Availability Oracle Golden Gate (OGG) systems on Oracle 11gR2 RAC environments.
Troubleshooting typical OGG technical problems such as unique key violation / long transaction abending by using GGSCI / Logdump / discard file analysis etc.
Performance Tuning OGG in extremely high data volume environments.
Additional Skills Telnet/Putty/Fsecure to ssh to Oracle database servers; Oracle client tools OEM, SQL Developer and optionally TOAD.

Basic knowledge of database fundamentals.
Knowledge on Oracle standby database setup, configuration and administration.
Knowledge on Oracle Enterprise Manager architecture and administration.
Knowledge on Oracle GoldenGate, and ODI technologies.
Knowledge on Cloud related technologies.
