SAS Administrator

Description

Minimum Requirements
5 + Years of Experience in administration and deployments on SAS production environments
Experience in installation and maintenance of SAS in complex environments such as distributed and high performance environments, regulated industries, cloud and enterprise solutions
Experience in working closely with clients (including onsite)
Preferred Requirements
Strong Linux and Windows administration skills
Certification in SAS Platform Administration
Skills & Capabilities
Strong communication and project management skills to advise customers on the best way to maximize the value from their SAS products
Installation and configuration of SAS software and components including SAS solutions in production grade environments
User, data and security administration including integration with enterprise directories and data encryption
Strong understanding of SAS server environment
Backup and restoration of SAS environments
Monitoring, Logging, and Troubleshooting SAS Servers
SAS programming and Unix scripting experience
Ability to work effectively in a global team
Responsibilities
Install SAS solutions in complex multimachine environments
Integrate SAS with enterprise Linux/ Windows, storage and security infrastructure
Configure SAS software for optimal performance
Integrate SAS into scheduling and log monitoring systems
Configure security certificates and integrate with enterprise directory services
Create preinstall and postinstall documentation and handover to client
Knowledge on Amazon Web Services and infrastructure for deployment of solutions will be a plus
