The End User Development (EUD) team is focused on improving equity investment professionals' productivity, decision making and increase IT's ability to respond to tactical needs by delivering short term business driven solutions. This team strengthens the partnership between the business and technology while increasing domain knowledge by delivering adhoc solutions in an unstructured development environment. The EUD team will incorporate the best ideas into enterprise product capabilities that will be available to all investment professionals. The Expertise We Are Looking For Excellent oral and written communication skills BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree and work experience Investment Management business domain experience across some combination of Research, Portfolio Management (Risk), Trading, Compliance and Investment Operations (CFA preferred) Demonstrated expertise with MS excel based programming using VBA, .NET , Strong working knowledge of SQL The Purpose of Your Role The EUD Developer / Analyst will be responsible for building custom tools that provide insights into fund management through Holdings, Trades, & Research. Responsibilities include software engineering on a variety of existing and new tools / applications, building dashboards using OBIEE and Tableau, working closely with both peers and business partners to rapidly deliver high quality solutions. The Skills You Bring Must have experience working directly with investment professionals 811 years experience in an analyticsbased role Demonstrated expertise with MS excel based programming using VBA, .NET Strong working knowledge of SQL Academic background in a related field (CFA, MSF, MBA, etc.) You have experience with the Agile development methodology You collaborate closely with your team, analyzing problems, recommending solutions and delivering technology results You have a passion for continued learning, and will continually learn about new technology trends and the Equity Asset Management business The Value You Deliver Building quality solutions which align with the technology blueprint and best practices, solving business problems by driving design, development, quality and ongoing support Partnering closely with product owners/analysts/business partners to understand business problems and needs Working closely with architects and lead developers to ensure adherence to the technology blueprint and roadmap Actively participating in knowledge exchange through innovation days, code and design reviews, exploring emerging technologies etc.
