General Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for all operational and technical support related to Huntsmans Internet proxy and perimeter firewall services.
Prioritized Essential Functions and Responsibilities
With limited supervision and decisionmaking Executes all security tasks at an operational and technical level (incident, request fulfillment, change, problem) for Internet proxy and perimeter firewall, across the global enterprise, reports on findings, and escalates to the Security Lead on appropriate next step actions
Work closely with end users, site IT support and sometimes external vendors in coordinating incident troubleshooting sessions
Provide expertise in Internet proxy and firewall configurations required in support of cloudbased application, such as Microsoft O365 proxy bypass/whitelisting where applicable, and follow through the incident and change management process for the bypass/whitelisting implementation
Periodic and timely monitoring of Microsoft O365 URLs and IPs updates published by Microsoft, and ensure timely implementation/followup of those updates in the Internet proxy and firewall
Other general responsibilities Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor
Assists other employees in accomplishment of Huntsman company goals
Participates in and completes companyrequired training programs
Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company
Education
Degree from Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience in Security Operations Center (SOC)
Experience, Specific Skills and Knowledge
Strong, indepth technical and hands on knowledge of Internet proxy (Forcepoint Websense appliancebased solution), perimeter firewalls (Cisco ASA), network security, and security technical risks related to key platforms, security architectures and solutions
Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs
Familiar with, and experience in managing Internet proxy configurations (policy, bypass, filter) to support cloudbased applications, including but not limited to Office365, Salesforce, SAP Cloud, etc
Strong technical knowledge of Cisco ASA firewall configuration syntax and experience in configuring Cisco ASA firewall rules via command line interface
Resourceful and strong technical knowledge in reviewing and analyzing Websense application logs, Wireshark logs, Cisco ASA firewall logs, other relevant logs for Internet access issues troubleshooting
Able to work independently, with strong sense of urgency/criticality and fast to response to operational support needs/issues
Experience managing, supporting, deploying cloudbased Internet proxy solution such as ZScaler
Experience in working with product vendor and end users for troubleshooting
Proven track records in troubleshooting and resolving complex Internet browsing related issues in timely manner
Good understanding of federal regulations such as SarbanesOxley
Good awareness of ITIL standards and best practice within operational environment
Experience in working in a multinational environment
Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages are a plus
Good background in delivering via process flows
