This individual will be responsible for developing and executing all phases of testing, including functional, regression and system level tests. Successful candidates will have a thorough understanding of Macintosh and Windows operating environments. Addl Job Info The CIT Joint Carrier Tester is responsible for the planning for and execution of all integration testing activities required to bring carrier partners live on the eEnrollment and eSales applications. The CIT Joint Carrier Tester creates the integration test plan in accordance with the overall project plan, and works closely with the insurance carrier and the CIT Project Manager throughout the test effort to ensure successful delivery of the plan. Additional responsibilities include Manage multiple test efforts simultaneously Create and maintain Joint Carrier Test plans in accordance with internal and external project plans Work with carrier partners to identify and document integration test scenarios Work with Benefitfocus Implementation Consultants to configure groups for testing in the eEnrollment and eSales applications Coordinate with the Benefitfocus configuration management team to ensure that test environments are allocated as needed for testing and that they are running the appropriate code version at all times Coordinate issue resolution and escalation of critical issues during Joint Carrier Testing Capture requirements changes identified during testing and work with the CIT Requirements Lead to update project documentation Execute test scenarios in the eEnrollment and eSales applications Run EDI extractions and coordinate the import of data into the eEnrollment and eSales applications Monitor test progress and work closely with the carrier and the CIT project manager to track testing status against the internal project plan Participate in regular status meetings with the insurance carrier and the CIT project manager Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Benefitfocus eEnrollment and eSales applications.
