Primary Responsibilities & Duties This business analyst role reports to the ERP Product Manager and has functional responsibility supporting Cambridge Associates ERP environment. Working closely with Accounting & Finance and Human Capital this role leverages both broad functional knowledge and a high level of technical aptitude to consult, recommend, develop and improve our financial and HCM system capabilities. To be successful, this individual must have proven experience in working closely with endusers gathering business requirements, designing and configuring solutions that achieve project / business goals, application support, solid analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The focus of this role is the implementation CAs new global financial system. Responsibilities include Perform analysis of CAs financial business processes and identify ways to improve those processes and with enhancements to optimize our investment in the ERP space Provide documentation of our business processes and systems requirements, configuration of future business processes and systems requirements, lead systems testing, and provide enduser support
Analyze reporting and integration requirements to understand dependencies, complexities and avoid risks
Collaborate with CAs HC and Accounting & Finance teams and thirdparty vendors to effectively integrate and implement the ERP platform to achieve business requirements
Participate in the development of implementation project plans; including detailed tasks and timeline
Develop detailed test plans and lead the testing process. Participate in system and user acceptance test planning and execution
Function as a Financial Systems subject matter expert, process and operational expert to create user documentation and conduct enduser training may be virtual, oneonone or classroom format Possess a strong understanding the modules and capabilities of the ERP platform currently in use, as well as available but not implemented
Develop a solid understanding of our system architecture and the associated data flows across the systems used by Accounting & Finance, HC, and the rest of the enterprise
Demonstrate functional knowledge of Accounting, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Management Reporting and Budgeting
Qualifications & Skills Ideal candidate has 5+ years of combined professional services, industry experience
Minimum of 5 years handson experience as a Finance System / Business Analyst implementing and supporting a large scale enterprise financial system (i.e., Workday, SAP, Oracle, Infor/Lawson) Solid experience in a functional / technical liaison role with an emphasis on o Gathering and documenting user and business requirements, writing use cases and functional specifications
o Creating test strategies and test plan documents as well as executing tests
o Report writing experience, preferably using an adhoc query tool (Business Objects, Cognos, Crystal Reports, SQL, etc.)
Possess and exhibit strength in essential project management skills and behavior such as leadership and communication, scheduling and tasking, risk and quality management. Bachelors degree required
