Description

Job Description We are in search of 3 experienced Performance Engineer with 5+ years of testing experience. As a Performance Engineer, you will be part of a world class team ensuring the performance, capacity, and reliability of our applications and infrastructure serving a worldwide client base. You will work in a fast paced and highly technical collaborative team environment developing innovative solutions for capacity and performance testing complex multitiered applications. As a Performance Engineer your key roles and responsibilities include 4+ years of experience in performance engineering with commercial businessoriented software applications
Being responsible for the development of test strategies for projects that may span multiple products, technologies and test disciplines.
Working closely with LexisNexis and vendor resources to ensure test cases and acceptance criteria adhere to requirements and are accurately validated during the certification process.
Providing guidance and oversight for improvements to software measurement, metrics and analytical techniques.
Key accountabilities are documented through performance objectives and may include Work collaboratively with the business, architects, and developers to define nonfunctional requirements (NFRs), identify gaps, assess capability, and document risks.
Develop performance and capacity models. Develop project estimates as part of the concept and project planning process.
Define key metrics and instrumentation for measuring and monitoring performance and capacity.
Identify trends through the use of metrics to forecast quality and release readiness.
Design and implement performance and capacity testing solutions using a variety of third party and custom tools in a distributed highly available environment
Troubleshoot complex configuration, infrastructure, networking, and application problems that could impact the performance or capacity of our system.
Provide release performance assessments and proactively communicate risks and dependencies which may impact the reliability, performance and/or availability of the product. Upon acceptance of this role, the selected internal candidate will be required to sign an updated NonCompetition Agreement or NonSolicitation and NonDisclosure Agreement as a condition of continued employment.
Qualifications Bachelors degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Engineering, Computer Science, and/or related fields of Engineering or IT
