Top Three Skills 1.) Minimum of 7 years of experience with Java/J2EE development. 2.) Object oriented design AKA OOD they should have used it to solve java design problems.
3.) Must have strong experience on integration projects, strong web services, (Ideally Middleware ESB like iWay or Apache Camel)
4.) Must have worked on projects where they interacted directly with the client. Ideally in a professional services or Saas organization. Job Description The HealthEdge professional services team is looking for seasoned Java Developers to work on clientspecific development projects related to interfaces, data migration, conversion, data reporting, and analysis. The development projects are critical, high value initiatives that are frequently part of a larger enterprise IT strategy at healthcare payors.

Responsibilities Work with development team on complex implementations of our enterprise software platform.
Participate sprint sessions within Agile methodology.
Analyze customer data and provide technical expertise to help leadership plan implementations or integrations.
Design, develop, code, test and debug complex integration solutions for our software and client environments.
Design and develop tools required for data manipulation or integration.
Manage time effectively, communicate status accurately to scrum masters and project managers. Performing all job functions consistent with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those which govern handling PHI and PII. Additional Information Development experience on the Linux operating system. Experience with complex data analysis, data migrations, and system integration, strong object oriented programming skills.
Handson development experience using Java/J2EE, XML, SOAP, Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, etc.), Middleware, Design Patterns, JUnit, Eclipse IDE and SQL.
Experience working with integration middleware or enterprise system bus technologies (ESB) like iWay or Apache Camel.
Good consulting and communication skills, previous experience with in customerfacing roles on professional services projects.
Demonstrated ability to work independently or within a team environment.
Experience with source control software such as Perforce, SVN, Git, etc. Experience in the health insurance industry is preferred.
Experience with Agile development methodology such as SCRUM or Kanban.
