Description Senior Big Data Integration Developer/Architect
Build distributed, scalable, and reliable data pipelines that ingest and process data at scale and in realtime
Build Java programs to engineer and deploy automated data ingestion
Minimum 3 years experience on Cloudera Hadoop Distribution
Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Apache Kafka, HBase
Experience with code development frameworks GitHub, Jenkins
Proficiency in Java, HDFS, Hbase, Hive, MapReduce, ETL, Kafka, Apache Sentry & Apache Solr
Proficiency in Hadoop data formats like AVRO & Parquet
Ability to work in fast paced, startup kind of culture
Strong communication skills Additional Information For the Hadoop role. Java experience is important, they are building their data pipeline for Hadoop with Java technologies. Components of Hadoop include; ApacheS, Skoop, Kafka, Hbase, Hive. Using some restful APIs. Work Environment Start up mentality, deadline intensive very creative environment.
