3) Must know how to build cubes and universes. Job Description Crystal Reports Developer / Data Analyst Corporate Call Center is seeking a Crystal Reports Developer for its expanding IT department. The ideal candidate will work independently and review, analyze and define requirements for new development or enhancements to and maintenance of existing systems. This individual will develop detailed functional and technical specifications and/or solutions for moderately complex business requirements.
Responsibilities Develop and test customized reports from various databases to extract and collect data according to client or management needs.
Provides support to functional teams or management by collecting and analyzing data and reporting results. Works closely with endusers to gather report requirements and ensure proper testing/validation.
Working knowledge of CMS System also basic understanding with CRM.
Expert knowledge of various report writing tools such as Crystal Reports and/or SQL server reporting services. Knowledge of building and maintaining OLAP cubes.
Responsible for timely implementation of data requests related to business systems from CMS events provides a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contributes to a positive teamwork environment.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Follows safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Reports safety incidents to supervisor and Client.
Performs other duties as assigned. Participates in training/learning other IT functions. Accomplishes related results as needed. Also slandered knowledge of application developer
Required Skills College degree in computer science of 3+ years working with Crystal Reporting service and SQL Server. Also 1+ years with C# in Visual Studio on the Microsoft Platform. Associated equivalent job experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Expertise with SQL Server DB, MS SQL Reporting Services (SSRS).Experience with large storage systems, replication and related products Ability to think analytically and should be a problem solver. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Programming and/or report generation with report writing tools such as Crystal Reports and/or Microsoft Reporting Services.
35 years experience relational database client server environment.
Ability to develop test plans for system changes and safely deploy changes into production environments. Programming and/or report generation with report writing tools such as Crystal Reports and/or Microsoft Reporting Services.
Strongly Preferred Skills Crystal Reporting Service, SQL Reporting, Stored Procedures, SSRS, Client server environment
Experience with MSSQL Server 2000, 2005 and 2008
