Top Three Skills 7 plus years Redhat Linux and/or CentOs Experience customizing back end applications by scripting using Pearl, Shell, Bash (PHP is a HUGE plus)
Strong documentation skills Experience with patching, antivirus, backups, DR plans etc.
Working in an VMware/ESX environment
Open to international travel Job Description SITA is currently moving from HP Openview to Nagios, a linux based system, and currently has no Linux expertise in house. Nagios will manage all of their applications for various customer sites (airports,) internationally. They are seeking someone to come in with new ideas and strong Linux knowledge that will work with another Engineer, to build a Linux Infrastructure from scratch to support this system. This includes Automate, implement and document the process for delivery and deployment of Linux servers, patching systems etc.
Select and install an antivirus
Define process, set up and install backup/restore and develop a Disaster Recovery plan
Customize and deploy the system in various airports/customer sites
Document all defined processes
