Description
Responsibilities Install, configure and support webMethods, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, Broker, Mediator and Centrasite Suite products in a large enterprise environment.
Includes Planning, configuration, and testing of new installations
Management of SSL Certificates
Configuration of webMethods product suite.
Support of JMS, including distributed queues, clustered JMS implementations and foreign JMS providers
Knowledge of external load balancers would be plus
Monitoring the health of webMethods servers using optimize and third party tools
Day to day administrative support of the environment
Provide problem analysis and troubleshooting for webMethods issues and related system components.
Includes Log Analysis and Error resolution
Thread dump analysis
Provide performance tuning and capacity planning
Provide assistance in the delivery of technical services including the preparation of cost justifications, application requirements, alternative solutions, and technical recommendations.
Provide and maintain technical documentation, policies and procedures related to Middleware infrastructure and updates as necessary.
Perform 24x7 oncall support on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications At least 4 years of hands on experience with SoftwareAG webMethods Suite
Working knowledge of AIX and RedHat Linux Operating Systems
Strong understanding of webMethods Clusters, Integration and Trading Networks Servers, MywebMethods, JMS and Broker queues and topics
Debugging developer services experience would be a plus
Experience on webMethods API portal suite is huge plus
Working knowledge and experience in Shell scripting
Familiar with Web Authentication and Authorization systems, including LDAP, Active Directory and singlesign on
Ability to work within a fast paced team environment
Excellent organization skills with ability to balance multiple priorities successfully
Aptitude for troubleshooting systems or applications
Ability to assemble and clearly present technical information to nontechnical people
