Top Three Skills 1. Must have an excellent functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials GL and CM modules as well as the business processes that are required for each.
2. Must have hands on Implementation experience on PeopleSoft Financials version 8.9 or higher. 3. Preferred to have an accounting background to be able to work closely with Accounting Staff and translate system language to Business users and vice versa. Job Description Genuine Parts has an immediate need for a PS Financials General Ledger/Cash Management lead consultant. The current lead is moving over to take on the role as the business SME for GL which is creating a gap on the IT side The person must have an excellent functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials GL and CM modules as well as the business processes that are required for each. He must have hands on Implementation experience on PeopleSoft Financials version 8.9 or higher. They prefer this person to have an accounting background to be able to work closely with Accounting Staff and translate system language to Business users and vice versa. Genuine Parts is creating an enterprise financial shared services model, implementing PeopleSoft Financials for their enterprise solution. They are doing a phased role out of this and have completed multiple business units already. They have their largest business unit, Napa Auto Parts Group scheduled to start in December and go live in April. Summary Job Description Apply functional PeopleSoft knowledge along with Accounting and Treasury knowledge to the design and customization of PeopleSoft and related applications to meet the company's requirements. Understands content, processes and procedures associated with implementing and maintaining PeopleSoft Financials. Writes functional requirements, develops and implements test plans, and works with production issues. Serves as subject matter expert associated in the PeopleSoft functional areas of General Ledger and Cash Management. Understands common business analysis tools and methodologies and is able to apply them to solve problems.
