1. Strong Java 8 experience, preferably developing back end code and big data and BI solutions would be nice to have
2. Strong backend experience with both sql and oracle 3. Strong communication skills and ability to assist and train the team with the technologies Job Description The client is building a BI solution with a big data component using Kafka to feed the data. They are looking for a senior level java developer with Java 8 and backend experience using both SQL and Oracle databases. They will be building Java orchestration to run SQL queries to update SQL tables Additional Information Guidewire has it's own BI solutions that it couples with their software. This is built on prem and in AWS. This need is really a bandwidth issue, his team needs some extra lift on projects because they're too busy to handle the work load. Work Environment Casual environment. Guidewire is a silicon valley based company so casual or business casual dress is acceptable. This is a senior level team so anyone who doesn't bring great skills to the table will be pushed out. Interview Information Will do phone, then in person or skype.
