Need a Senior Data Analyst (710 years) with experience Working in a large enterprise environment
Creating new dashboards and supporting existing dashboards for retail business performance
Experience building a data mart and supporting the databases (both Teradata and Oracle, also getting into Hadoop)
Working with data visualization tools Tableau and Spotfire Tableau currently being used heavily in the environment, but starting to transition more into Spotfire). This person will be the only individual on the team that has strong experience with Spotfire.
Summary Responsible for writing programs to maintain and control computer systems software for operating systems, networked systems, and database systems. Responsible for creating the software platform, and then finetuning the final program after it has been made. Education/Experience Bachelor's degree/equivalent in computer science, MIS or related discipline 5+ years experience in systems development and the skills/platform/environment requested by FedEx management Skills and Competencies Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue Skilled in one or more programming languages used by FedEx Full working knowledge of an application development language /package, program design, application development methodology Major Job Duties and Responsibilities Gathers user requirements data in order to prepare functional specifications Designs and transforms user requirements into an application program for a data processing system Works on highly complex projects and provides technical direction. Participates in the total design of major software systems Writes business/technical or design specifications/documentation
