Big Data experience (ideally Hadoop and Hive) Job Description There are 160 source systems, the majority of which are mainframe. This team is tasked with pulling data from mainframe policy administration systems and landing that data in Hadoop. Once the data has landed in Hadoop it will be cleansed and then moved into a data cleansed region. The data cleansed region will be subject to data governance and business rules and then will be moved to data quality.
The main responsibility of this position will be to use Informatica Power Center and Informatica Power Exchange to land data in Hadoop.
This is a fast paced, deadline driven, project.
