Description
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance resource to assist in testing approximately 100 processes that are involved in the BBU migration from Red Brick to Teradata data warehouse. This person would be responsible for conducting tests on batch processes that are running on a linux operating system. These processes use a combination of shell scripts, Informatica, and BTEQ. Primary responsibilities include Design and execute test plans specific for each process
Set up test data in database and gather required input files
Clearly document test results
Determine code issues if any
Document issues for developers to review
Confirm error handling is being done properly
Required Skills Proficient with SQL queries
Experience with Teradata
Strong experience with Informatica
Strong experience with Unix shell scripting Good communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools specifically Word and Excel
