Description
Discover Home Loans is looking for a Software Engineer in Test with a talent for writing unit, regression and automation tests. You will write code to penetrate and break our applications while they are in development. You will be embedded as a member of the development team, working to build reusable tests on code as it's checked in, not weeks or months later. You will get to develop load tests and stress every part of our service framework until it cries. You will be empowered to bring best practices and new methods of testing into the organization and will be encouraged to do what you do best. Design and develop repeatable tests in C# using VS2012 Test Professional
Integrate tests into a continuous build server
Manage fallout tracking and present findings to the team at the daily roundtable
Stayupto date with testing trends in the marketplace and bring new tools and methodologies into the development cycle Requirements
B.S. in Computer Science or related field (or extensive real world experience breaking code)
Thorough knowledge of C# 4.0+
Must be able to demonstrate developing unit, automation and load tests
Must be able to extract data from SQL Server and Web Services for use in tests
Must have a working understanding of object oriented programming and service oriented system architectures
Must be able to learn how a system works by reading code
Mortgage experience is a plus
