Description
Job Description Develop database models and support documentation in order to meet business requirements for reporting and analytic databases. Analyze data sources and requirements and business rules. Perform logical and physical data modeling. Write prototypes to prove data transforms. Write specifications for development, then implement and test database design. Coordinate data models across marts and warehouses. Manage dictionaries and other documentation across multiple datamarts and warehouses. Requirements Extensive experience in data modeling/database design experience; database administration; and impact analysis of data structure changes. 5+ years of logical and physical data modeling in an operational system development environment. 5+ years of logical and physical modeling utilizing a major data modeling tool. 57 years of relevant work experience required.
o 610 years of DB development experience across Oracle and SQL Server space, excellent understanding of relational database modeling
o Strong handson experience in in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development in 11g and 12c environments
o Knowledge in writing packages/procedures and database optimization
