Job Summary This position is a key member of the Data Management Practice and is responsible for designing, architecting and implementing common business functions, enterprise components, and application and integration frameworks to provide reusable components for programspecific application development and implementation. The ETL Architect will have the full scope of responsibility for architecting an enterprise wide ETL framework in a SOAbased technical architecture framework. The candidate will work and mentor other ETL developers to integrate the enterprise architecture within each program areas. He/She will be the primary lead for establishing and enforcing ETL standards across the enterprise that results in agility in implementing changes in a fast paced environment, providing directions to large cross functional teams in the completion of their solution requirements, architecture, or implementation deliverables and ensuring ontime delivery of solutions that meet project expectations.
Key Skills Experience in ETL conversions using INFORMATICA 8x9x
Experience with Relational, Dimensional and Star Schema database design
Direct experience extracting from varied data source types into a 3NF and Dimensional data warehouse
Full understanding of INFORMATICA 8 or 9 is required especially dealing with very large volumes of data
Full understanding of dimensions, facts, data marts, 3NF, ODS and other data warehouse concepts.
Data architecture and modeling experience implementing proper data structures for an ETL solution using tools such as INFORMATICA is required.
Experience in working with Teradata including loading targets, executing SQL and troubleshooting and optimization of ETL components.
Full comprehension of SQL, cardinality, levels of granularity, normalized vs denormalized, handling of slowly changing dimensions, auditing, database and tool optimization techniques and other such data architecture best practices is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills is required
Assist with client or own the data architecture tasks of a project.
Attend client meetings with SMES to Architect solutions for clients
Excellent Analytical skills required

Ability to travel to United States is required.
