4. Experience in Proto.io or some other mobile prototyping tool Job Description We are looking talented and experienced contract Mobile UX Designer to join the InComm mobile development team. In this role, youll work closely with a cross functional project team to design mobile applications for IPhone, Android and windows mobile platforms.
This role is responsible for designing and communicating detailed design specifications throughout all stages of the project design/development process. You will have a solid comprehension of information design, information architecture, user interaction models, and user interface design best practices.
We are looking for an exceptionally detailoriented individual who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment under extremely tight deadlines. The ability to communicate design decisions to both technical and nontechnical audiences based on solid design principals throughout the all stages of the process is critical to the candidates success.
You will design intuitive, usable, and engaging mobile interactions and visual designs.
You will create workflows, wireframes, prototypes, feature lists, content matrixes, and other artifacts to describe the intended user experience.
You will own the creation process for the development of design documentation and make addendums throughout the progress of the project.
Youll work closely with Product Management to identify user needs and business requirements.
You will initiate and respond to ideas for improvements based on internal and external customer feedback.
Conceive, manage, and drive the project design component from start to finish.
You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams as well as the greater UX team throughout the design process.
Procure buyin with stakeholders early and often in an iterative design process.
During implementation phase, respond to daytoday questions from developers, product managers & project Managers.
Also work with QA to identify, document, and verify bug fixes.
Qualifications BFA in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Multimedia Design or 5 plus years professional work experience A minimum of 5 years of Interaction Design experience
A minimum of 4 years of UI/UX experience
The successful candidate should have expert familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with Proto.io (preferred) or like mobile prototyping tool required.
Experience working in IOS, Android and Windows mobile required
Creativity, a cando work ethic, and a passion for design in the mobile industry are all essential.
Creative and pragmatic problem solver, with an eye towards detail and perfection of visual design
Must have mobile design and UI/UX samples including sketches, ideation process and final work available for review
