Description
1) Object Oriented development or scripting in Java, Ruby, .NET, etc. An ideal candidate will have 35 years of experience with OOD.
2) 3+ years of experience with unit testing processes and tools
3) Automation Test Engineering any exposure to selenium, SauceLab, Watir, TFS, or TDDium is a plus Job Description This Software Engineer will be empowered to develop, implement, and manage solutions that support the testing and deployment of CareerBuilders internal business application website in the cloud. This focus is about improving quality, cross browser compatibility, performance, and capacity testing in an automated testing and deployment environment. A few specific tools we are currently using to accomplish this are MSTest, Selenium, SauceLab, Web Application Testing in Ruby (Watir), Team Foundation Server (TFS), Tddium, and GitHub.
Major Responsibilities/Activities Embrace lean development methodology for providing fast and efficient delivery of solutions
Understand our internal development infrastructure and best practices Be involved in fully utilizing third party and open source solutions to moving business applications into the cloud Build automated testing solutions within the platforms supported by the Corporate Applications team.
In addition there is also development of tools to monitor testing results.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems. Job Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field
12 Years Software development experience, coop/internships helpful
A demonstrated understanding of objectoriented design and development
An understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) through Unit and Integration Testing
Knowledge of Ruby, SauceLab, Tddium, and Watir or other similar technologies
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, IIS.
A passion to drive quality through automated testing
Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to communicate effectively within the development team and across various teams within the business
Familiarity with version control software such as TFS and GitHub
Familiarity with Platforms as a Service (PAAS) such as EngineYard, Amazon Web Services
Knowledge of C#, CSS, JavaScript, and NET. or other similar languages
Knowledge of Web Services
Experience with Scrum and/or KanBan to accomplish agile practices
