Description

Reason
To ensure the success of Risings data management strategy by planning and leading successful projects to orchestrate efficient datadriven workflows. Responsibilities
Designing, developing, automating and supporting data warehouse ETL processes for data staging, extraction, transformation, data cleansing, and loading of fact tables.
Improving ETL strategy and best practices.
Other duties may be assigned based on company needs
Relationships
Reports to Business Intelligence Manager
Regularly interacts with other members of Business Intelligence, Operations, IT, and other Rising employees
Requirements
Education/Training
A Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in an ITrelated field
Postsecondary training/certification (or equivalent experience) in computer science/IT a plus
Experience
At least 3 years in Data Warehousing
MS SQL 2005, 2008, 2012
SQL Server Integration Services
ETL, SSIS, data management, database design, and data modeling
OLTP and OLAP database, OLAP cubes for BI applications, data mining and reporting
TSQL, creation of stored procedures, functions and jobs
Preferred Sourcing Systems Dynamics GP, CRM, Google Analytics
Skills/Competencies
Sound understanding of Data Warehousing and related concepts
Extensive knowledge of relational and multidimensional data design and development techniques including star schema, snowflake schema, cube design, ETL and others preferred
Very strong experience building solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data warehousing
