Role Requirement Would be involved on multiple projects and should have P&C experience related to Policy/Claims/Billing/Contracts. Have a good understanding or implemented TOGAF, Zachman Framework, Reference Model like ACORD. Advanced experience with all facets of data modeling using erwin tool Advanced TSQL skills, OLTP Transactional Processing, EDW / BI Analytics OnPremise or Azure SQLServer, RDBS. Controlling security access to data and auditing Data replication techniques, Data Retention through backup and recovery Nice to have skills Canonical model. P&C Insurance Guidewire Product experience Experience with Storage (hot / cold) Cloud Microsoft Azure Stack, Big Data Hortonworks stack, NoSQL Tools and Technology Soft Skills Strong team and interpersonal skills. Ability to take initiative, Lead JAD sessions. Ability to review requests and determine approach to support Excellent verbal and written communication Agile methodology Detail Description of Services Provided Data Architect should perform and support activities for Data Management Services organization Expert in developing and Implementing Enterprise Logical Data Model for Insurance Industry. Visualize, Designs and Develops Baseline & Target data architecture platform for various HSB data assets. Work with other architecture discipline to facilitate strategic business decision using actionable trusted insights. Creates roadmap for Data Components catalogs, Validates Data Principles, Conduct formal stake holder reviews. Performs Gap Analysis and resolve impact across data landscape. Data Solution design for Structured, Semi Structured and unstructured type of data. Works closely with the team to understand data needs, document data flows. Perform data analysis, discovery, profiling and identify cause of data issues and work with broader team to resolve Write & Elaborate data stories and use cases. Translate those requirement into optimal Data Models. Create maintain data elements inventory, Layout data entity & elements characteristics, complex relationships, cardinality in a logical Data Model. Provides input and help capture data processing and enrichment rules. Develops Physical data Model (Normalized, Dimensional, Multidimensional Hybrid Cubes, keyvalue, wide column, graph, or document) using tool and work with DBA to implement optimal data structures solution. Develops data management standards, policies and procedures. Work with Data Management to establish governance processes around metadata to ensure an integrated definition of data for enterprise information, and to ensure the accuracy, validity, and reusability of metadata Partner with development and QA teams to communicate the business rules, data models and ensure test cases target the quality and integrity of the data model Partner with DBAs to transform logical data models into physical database designs (DDL) while optimizing the performance (Partitioning) and maintainability of the physical database
