Informatica Administrator Mid level
We are searching for someone with 46 years of experience as an Informatica administrator with 3+ years' experience in software development and delivery.
Responsibilities of the Informatica Administrator Perform activities related to the daytoday administration and maintenance of Informatica 10.X server environments.
Perform installations, upgrades, backups, configuration changes, and job migrations. Collaborates with appropriate teams regarding resolution of problems with workflows. Assist with architecture and planning the server infrastructure using new technologies.
Work under minimal supervision on complex projects and may assist less experienced peers. Wide latitude for independent judgment.
Solve production issues identified in the application in accordance with the Service Level Agreements and provide workarounds.
Participate in an 24/7 On Call Schedule for Informatica Support.
Investigate and resolve Data Integration platform issues by working with various teams like VM team, DBA, and Informatica Corporation.
Qualifications of the Informatica Administrator Strong Linux experience.
Experience with Unix shell scripting.
Experience with Power Center / IDQ Informatica solutions.
Experience in configuration of domain and application services like repository services and integration services.
Performs all Informatica administration functions such as user access accounts, roles, privileges, and LDAP configuration.
Experience with different connections like Relational connection, Native connections, and Application connections.
Hands on Experience in code migration by Export and Import Object and Deployment Groups.
Experienced in using the Informatica command line utilities like pmrep, pmcmd, infacmd and infasetup.
Experience upgrading and patching Informatica application.
Experience in the shell scripting to automate the Informatica admin process.
Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical structures in an understandable userfriendly format.
