Description

Follett the largest distributor of college books is looking to add 6 systems analysts and 1 team lead to assist with their store systems of their largest initiative the Text Rental Project.
The Text Rental initiative implemented in 2010 to over 800 stores is a continuing effort to expand text rental functionality, making it available to the FMS Retail stores, Virtual Bookstores (Higher Education and K12) stores and establish an online presence for FHEG by offering this functionality through the efollett platform (FMS and B2C). The addition of text rental as a transactional option, will allow FHEG to protect current market share in unit sales of course materials, and potentially reverse the declining trend in sellthrough.
This is a continuation of The text rental initiative. The additional functionality and enhancements will be touching 900 stores nationally. This projects is to add These changes will impact the following applications Follett Managed Book Stores
Follett Virtual Stores
Strong systems applications of Microfocus/ Compuware tool set with knowledge of Optimal Trace is preferred. Other automated tool (Mercury) experience that allows a consultant to enter in requirements may be accepted. Strong written & verbal communication skills
Excellent knowledge and experience in QA methodology
Hands on experience with creating, updating and executing manual test scripts
Excel and or tool (CARS workbench, HP)
Experience with requirements application tool, ie., Microfocus/Compuware Optimal Trace
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently, self starter with little direction.
Functional, UAT and systems integration testing both manual and automated.
Minimum of 5 years experience on a larger team size analysts environment.
A four year degree is required
Team Lead
Should have a minimum of 5 years in a team lead role for a large environment. Team size of at least 6 with the same experience as listed above.
