Applications Security Architect

Job Description APS is seeking a contract Applications Security Architect to assist the IT Applications Team with the design, and configuration of security solution related to Enterprise Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager. Specific tasks this consultant will be responsible for completing are Assessing student and employee biographical data available in system of record. Deliver a design document listing the appropriate security groups to support granular role and location level authorization. Develop FIM processes to provision and manage the Identity Lifecycle for these entities. Create resilient structure to ensure identity lifecycles are managed in an automated fashion but not be disruptive to school based tools utilizing the identities. Develop and deliver the SSO enabled SharePoint portal architecture. Create integration policies for provisioning Office 365 accounts for 50,000 APS students and employees. Deploy the federated identity management platform to enable SSO (standards based and/or custom) for integration with school based student applications. Train and mentor the APS staff for ongoing operations of the identity tools. The consultant should also provide integration best practices on creating federated identity policies to link the student portal with other digital assets via a SSO framework. In order to carry out these tasks, APS' Director of Microsoft Solutions Architecture will be specifically looking for the following nonnegotiable set of skills Identity & Access Management, Directory Services, MetaDirectory / Virtual Directory, Federation Services (SAML 2.0), Web Access Management, and Web Single Signon / Enterprise Single Signon (ESSO).
