Description

A gap has been identified in the ability of the team to develop User Acceptance test case and User Training due to the lack of click level detail procedures. The SIT team has click level detail for approximately 25% of cases that both the UAT and OCM teams can leverage. The existing UAT and OCM team are not sufficiently familiar with CC&B to develop the remaining procedures. We require the immediate addition of two resources to fill that gap. While both resources will initially develop click level procedures, it is expected as that activity concludes one will take on a lead role on the UAT team and the other will take on a lead role on the OCM team. It is possible that once the gap is documented and a detailed estimate developed to fill that gap there may be a requirement for an additional CC&B qualified resource(s). If that should happen an additional resource request will be made immediately.
UAT Lead Scope of Work
1. Confirm the detailed UAT plan and scope including the number of UAT and end to end scripts required. 2. Identify requirements for click level procedures needed to complete test scripts and user procedures. Develop click level procedures required. 3. Apply CC&B and UAT testing expertise to ensure that Oncor UAT test scripts are documented and ready for use in accordance with the Wave 3 test schedule (UAT begins 03/03/2014).
4. Leverage System Integration test documentation where possible to expedite the delivery of UAT and End to End test scripts.
5. Produce updated Wave 3 Level 4 process maps which cross reference UAT test scripts to the business processes.
6. Lead and assist in the execution of UAT testing.
7. Produce daily and weekly status reports as requested to report progress, issues and dependencies UAT Lead Qualifications
Detailed CC&B knowledge across all functional areas of the system
o Familiar with CC&B Configuration options including security roles, to dos and use of characteristics
Detailed knowledge of CC&B to the click level necessary for navigation throughout the online system
Understanding of the TDSP role and responsibilities in the Texas electric market
Understanding of EDI protocols used in the Texas market between TDSP, ERCOT and Retailers
Extensive experience creating Use Acceptance Test plans, test cases, test scripts, and facilitating and managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) especially with CC&B
Knowledge of business process maps and their use in designing end to end and UAT test scripts Familiar with System Integration Testing scripts and able to leverage test documentation from other testing phases to expedite development of UAT test scripts Familiar with testing and defect management tools (Quality Center/ALM) and methodologies
Able to liaise with business work stream owners to understand business priorities and requirements
Act as a technical mentor for other UAT team members to successfully execute the UAT test plan Operate as a CC&B SME and mentor to quickly address user acceptance testing issues and concerns and expedite Oncor resources obtaining required CC&B knowledge for future testing
Familiar with Oracle database query capabilities and tools used to perform analysis necessary to identify/confirm software and configuration issues
Experience with reporting of UAT test progress, issues and project dependencies
Familiarity with MDMS and General Ledger systems and other typical systems interfaced with the CC&B product
Familiar with file transfer (ftp), input stubbing and other alternative testing methodologies
