The Senior HRIS Reporting Analyst is responsible for managing any updates to HRIS systems as needed, to ensure an efficient and accurate production environment for end users. This role will monitor, maintain, update and write reports from various systems, making configuration and security access changes to systems in a super user capacity. The Senior HRIS Reporting Analyst will also troubleshoot any errors within and between systems, identifying root causes of these errors. The incumbent will be the primary point of contact with HRIS Vendors, and between IT and these vendors. The Senior HRIS Reporting Analyst will also identify, enhance, develop, or create, and implement system process improvements. Primary Responsibilities Develops, enhances and automates periodic reports in various systems based on user requirements to eliminate manual report writing
Configures systems as required by business requirements by acting as the super user in each system. Also configures systems by updating settings, tables, etc., in order to ensure systems meet business process requirements accurately and in a timely manner. Troubleshoots systems and integration issues by identifying root cause(s) (e.g. data, technical, network, etc.). Manages process to fix systems errors so that problems are not repeated. Identifies process improvements or automation opportunities by reviewing process with end users, acting in a Business Analyst capacity to document the asis and tobe processes. Implements changes in order to save time or costs to the business and/or improve data integrity. Acts as primary Liaison between vendors and/or IT and HR end users for changes to processes and systems, as well as to break/fix/followup any systems changes, to ensure completion. Experience Requirements 68 plus years of experience in HRIS systems and payroll systems support needed Experience with Ceridian Source system desirable Experience supporting and configuring Kronos needed Experience using dashboard generating tools for HR metrics highly desirable Experience in change management/process improvement for HRIS processes and procedures important for this role Essential Skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic proficiency in Microsoft Access required Skill in report writing using Structured Query Language (SQL) Skill in independently learning, configuring and testing various HCM tools (Applicant Tracking, Onboarding, Compensation Management, Performance Management, Career Development, Succession Planning, Benefits Management, etc.) Knowledge of sequential databases and data warehouses Knowledge of HRIS systems and how they interact / interface with each other
