Description

Measurement Incorporated is looking for talented developers who can not only keep up with our Assessment Technologies team (formerly known as Software Products), but can make it better. A developer at MI is involved in every step of software creation. Your role will be to work with a small team to design, develop, code, and document web applications used for educational testing. You will be adding new features to our existing products as well as helping to design and develop future products.
Within Assessment Technologies, there are 5 groups that this developer may contribute to including MIST Measurement Incorporated Secure Testing (MIST is a comprehensive online testing application that allows tests to be administered in a secure, proctored environment) Writing Sites (MIs website dedicated to helping young students improve their writing skills) MICA Measurement Inc. Classroom Assessment (MICA is an interactive webbased classroom assessment and learning tool for Tennessee educators)

Education is an essential part of our society, methods may evolve but education continues. MI has been in this business for over 30 years. Over the past 10 years we have developed practice writing web sites for a number of states. We have developed an application that scores essays in real time. We have developed an application that can present multiple choice and openended questions using graphics and movable objects.
Requirements for online systems include audio, video, graphics, adaptive testing, machinebased intelligence and there is more emphasis on integration and interoperability of testing systems and educational materials and learning tools. We have won awards for our AI work, rated as number one among 10 different products.
