3. Jasmine Job Description Our client is looking for experienced programmers to join their team on a contract. Technically, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks are what they are looking for. Experience developing in SinglePage Application or SinglePage Interface is key. Our client is expanding upon previously built applications using frameworks like Angular, Ember, Jasmine (for testing), Backbone, canJS, JSMVC, etc. Personality, attitude and drive are also very important to managers in selecting a candidate. They are looking for people that are continuous learners. The environment is Agile and they do a lot of Pair Programming and collaboration. So working in a team environment and willingness to learn are must haves when determining a candidates relevancy. Additional Information Work Environment The work environment is great. They are all proud of the work they do and put a lot of effort into it. Interview Information This is a two step process. One step is over the phone with about 50% of it being coding. The second interview is in person with Duane and a few senior developers. This will also include a coding exercise. After that, they will make their decision. Who is the Internal/External Customer They have created a tool called MindTap and these individuals will be digging deeper into MindTap and developing applications on top of it. Impact to the Internal/External Customer The impact is that they will be able to make the tool more interactive and more specific to many different types of learning. If they do that, they will expand the market that is using it and will make the company more money. Business Challenge The business challenge is to help make tools more user friendly and expand the products they off. This product will offer specific subjects for students to use. EVP They use the latest and greatest technologies, but they want people to take ownership of their work and be proud. The Agile environment is great and the people really enjoy what they do here.
