Description

KEYS FOR Web Development at VML Strong css capabilities. Can take a design layout and bring it to life with html, css, and JavaScript. Must be able to reference their work in the form of live websites with complex, modern web design including responsive layouts and interactive page elements. SASS and LESS experience a plus and ability to work collaboratively with a team is required.
Job Description and Responsibilities
The Web Developer is innovative, providing creative new concepts and solutions with other team members for our partners. He or she contributes to the successful completion of major projects by investigating, analyzing and resolving complex application problems; provides codes; compiles and tests complex websites and applications; employs standards and security methods; and uses industry tools in building enterprise web applications. The Web developer works with project management and leadership to provide time estimates and schedules for projects and communicates regularly with department management and functional users on project requirements, activities and status. He or she applies process management techniques to improve software engineering standards, processes and techniques.
○ Works with Technical Director, Technical Architect, App/Web Developer, Database Administrator, System Administrator, Project Management, Account Management and Creative to create bestinclass websites and applications, completing all requirements and meeting usability expectations
○ Develops and/or maintains a sustainable frontend framework and coordinates with other team members ○ Partners with technology personnel to develop creative marketing technology solutions in support of meeting client expectations
○ Estimates assigned projects and completes work within timeline given
○ Provides leadership in the development and implementation of short and longterm technology plans and related policies and procedures
○ Takes a lead role in establishing and implementing standards that will facilitate a quality IT infrastructure across VML and all clients
