2) Cobol language on iSeries
3) Interactive development Building screens that users sit at and work at NOT building reports and batch programs. Job Description Our client is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill an open iSeries COBOL Developer position in Evansville, IN. Responsibilities Seeking iSeries COBOL Developers to support our System. This person needs to be able to use the Cobol Language on an iSeries hardware. They also need to be able to do interactive development where they are building screens that users sit at and work at NOT just build reports and batch programs. Responsible for designing system logic for project phases, conducting design reviews and coding and testing programs. Qualified candidates will have experience in the following Participating in design reviews Coding and testing programs Analyzing results Tracing problems in programs or systems
Technical Skills Required COBOL
Pluses SQL CL MQ Series AS400/iSeries
Requirements Qualified candidates for this position will possess a Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science or related field
