Webmethods Developer

Description

1. Expert understanding (7+ years) of webMethods on an AIX Oracle platform. This person should have great knowledge of the components of the system. This includes the broker, developing, messaging, performance tuning, patching and troubleshooting. Must have experience working in a large enterprise environment
2. Experience with the webMethods adaptors; adaptors and services associated with SFDC, HTTP, AS2, FTP, SFTP, MQ series and JDBC. 3. Java development background is required and expected. Must write be able to write web services for webMethods.
Industry/domain knowledge is extremely important and will be a huge plus (manufacturing). Strong Engineering experience within an enterprise environment
Experience in working in agile environment
Previous experienced supporting ERP applications
Java development experience preferably
Experience working with Oracle 10g or higher and SQL Server 2008 or higher
Responsibilities include Working with business teams extensively to identify and gather system requirements.
Developing/ enhancing code to enable integration on webMethods Integration Server using Oracle database at the backend
Create/Develop custom webMethods packages that leverage existing APIs, frameworks, and configurations for data extraction and manipulation
Update/Modify/Enhance existing webMethods packages to add new functionality
Troubleshoot existing webMethods packages for defects and issue resolution
Other duties as assigned by Work Stream Leads and Manager
Requirements Minimum 7 years WebMethods development experience (preferably wM 9.x)
Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of working experience
Solid communication skills and ability to work in a large team environment
Ability to effectively communicate with various internal business teams and external customers
Ability to communicate and work with business analyst team extensively to identify and gather system requirements, functional specs, design, and assist with testing Additional Information RockTenn is a paper and corrugated manufacturing company. They purchase & acquire paper mills & plants as their growth model. Every time a plant or mill is acquired, the system must be integrated into RockTenn's environment. The current EDI environment is growing due to the integration of other environments into theirs. They are currently consolidating different versions of webMethods and are retiring their legacy systems. There are 2 integration servers, 1 broker and 2 reversing servers (totally 5 in the production environment). There are about 80,000 transactions per day, and 1 million rows per day. The framework is already provided.
RockTenn just completed an upgrade to version 9.7 and are planning on upgrading to Nirvana soon. They also are upgrading the DB within the next 30 days. This is a Senior role with 7+ years of experience required Day to day duties are broken down as follows
