Description
Designing and mapping out the EDI standards.
This person must have strong experience in mapping and understand EDI standards. The EDI translates the information from SAP and converts it into EDI format (standards X12) and then EDI translation goes to their vendors or customers; (FTP file, Van file, etc.). All of their business transactions are sent using this.
The day to day will look like 1) Mapping, Mapping, Mapping... (Seeburger tools and BIC mapping designer)
2) Working with multiple teams such as Master File team, (Making sure Master Data that is getting updated for the EDI transition to occur). 3) SAP Environment Running certain transactions in the iDocs to see if there are any in a certain status that need to be cleared, if they are errored, need to be reprocessed and address these issues in the B2B Integrator.
