Responsibilities
This position manages work across multiple information systems & projects.
Recruits, selects, coaches, & develops team leadership, engineering, & support staff within the IT department. Manages professional growth & develop plans.
Works with senior leadership to develop team goals in line with department objectives.
Conducts performance & development reviews per HR guidelines. Takes corrective actions, including Performance Improvement Plans & terminations, when necessary.
May lead problem management teams comprised of senior engineering resources in solving highcomplexity, highimpact enterprise issues. Translates & champions IT strategy to functional unit.
Achieves financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances & initiating corrective action within functional unit.
Maintains organization's effectiveness & efficiency by supporting strategic plans for implementing & supporting information technologies.
Assists with defining enterprise IT policies & procedures to ensure the protection of information assets.
Approves & tracks PTO/Vacation requests in accordance with HR policies.
