Job Description Epsilon in Southfield, Mi is looking to add 2 resources for their ELS, List Fulfillment and Survey teams. Epsilon has an 18 month initiative to migration and upgrade their List Fulfillment Application and Survey Application. This position will be more of a maintenance and support role as they are doing these upgrades. They are looking for these developers to have experience with C++, Java and Perl. This is an 18 month contact. Additional Information Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications Computer Science degree or 12 years equivalent experience in Java, .net (must have), C, C++ (must have), Perl (nice to have)
35 years of IT experience in a software development environment. Proven analysis, design, and programming experience Knowledge of UNIX environment/directory structures /Linux/DO environment. Knowledge of database programs, Access, and basic SQL preferred Ability to read, create, and change existing code Source Control familiarity (SVN) Strong written and oral communications skills Ability to coordinate and follow up with multiple tasks Attention to detail necessary Ability to work weekends and nights when needed Work Environment This is a data marketing company, they are very team orientated and are looking for team members that communicate with team across North America. The List Fulfillment team sits in Southfield, MI and this application handles all of the telemarketing, contact list and addresses for marketing. The Survey group sits in Toronto and this group works with the marketing groups that conduct surveys and handles all of the hits and bounces cretin marketing campaigns get from customers. Impact to the Internal/External Customer If these applications don't work then each group will not be able to access the data and will result in not being able to run marketing campaigns and will result in loss of millions of dollars and loss of customers.
