Description

1) 7+ Years of experience designing, developing (TSQL from scratch), and supporting an enterprise SQL Server Database production environment will be responsible for 75100 DB's all SQL Server 2012
2) Ability to write TSQL from scratch to create new stored procedures and triggers as well create and migrate ETL packages. 3) Sr level Experience (5+ Years) creating HA solutions (replication, log shipping, mirroring, SQL clustering), performance tuning, query optimization, client/server connectivity. Job Description Cricket Wireless is continuing to grow. They are reselling their services in some of the largest retail shops in the country. This means their customer data must be housed with Cricket as well. New environments, databases, migrations, and conversions are all aspects of this growth. They are currently around 20 Servers with 45 SQL Server DB's on each instance. They will all be MSSQL Server 2012.
Day to Day These resources will work with the 4 current DBA's to develop the dev/test/stage/production environments. They will first help with the design/development of the environment to prepare the environment with their current 2 applications. This will involve setting up API's, daily feed setups, ETL packages for migrations, etc. They will also help create monitoring, alerting, tuning, replication, clustering, ETL issues, notifications, feeds, etc. They will also ensure the environment meets HA (high availability) standards. They will work heavily with development to implement the necessary MSBI solutions (mostly ETL). They may also take some of the system admin responsibilities to help setup a Disaster Recovery solution, replication, hosting, etc. They will also help with VMWare issues as they arise so they do not have to wait for other department to fix hosting/virtualization issues.
