Description

Franklin Templeton has a 6+ month C#/WPF opening to support new development and maintenance for a Windows dashboard application project. This project is currently underway, and impacts 500800 target users. Users include front office employees such as Traders and Portfolio Managers. The dashboard will display trades, research, and data specific to business functions and units. By creating this application, front office employees will have access to all necessary information at all times, and eliminate the need for Excel spreadsheets. This product was released in January to 350 users and received great feedback. Templeton is still perfecting the application, and this person will be responsible for the new development.
Eventually this could lead into mobile development as well. Franklin Templeton also has a Mobile Security Authentication project underway. This person can sit in either Fort Lauderdale or Salt Lake City.
Skills C#, SQL, WPF, .NET, Object Oriented Design Modeling, Prism
Essential Skills WPF/XAML UI application development experience
Knowledge of distributed systems
Web services, knowledge of REST services
Good RDBMS knowledge
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Nice to have Experience with Mongo DB (No SQL knowledge)
Experience with JMS messaging (ActiveMQ)
Capital Markets experience (securities, Fixed Income, Risk, all pluses)
.NET 4.5 experience
Experience with subversion and continuous integration
