DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities
Work closely with the engineering teams to ensure feature components can be managed in a production grade environment, ensuring maximum visibility into network operations and flexibility in the event of component failures
Respond to security incidents and infrastructure events on a rotation basis

Work as part of a closeknit team of highly skilled developers
Qualifications
2+ years experience working in an agile DevOps environment
Strong experience administering Linux servers
Strong experience with scripting languages like Python, Node.js or Bash
Experience with systems deployment and automation including continuous integration and continuous deployment
Experience with virtualization platforms such as Docker and AWS
Experience with pipeline tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo
Proficiency with Git version control tool
Professional, precise communication skills
Bachelors degree in computer science, or equivalent experience
Preferred
Additional pipeline tools such as SBT, Gradle or Maven
Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL
Experience with firewalls, VPN, routing, switching, load balancers, monitoring, security and DNS plus
Ability to troubleshoot issues in highly complex network setups
