We need software engineers to join us in designing and developing complex, scalable, and highlyavailable applications for our B2B and B2C ecosystem. The apps you build must stand up to the thousands of concurrent fans fighting for the chance to purchase that last remaining seat in the stadiumand you know it will, because youll build it with a micro services architecture and distributed database to give you elastic scalability in the cloud. And every fans purchase transaction will complete flawlessly because you implemented automated unit and integration tests to verify that the system meets all functional requirements.
Responsibilities ● Collaborate with our product managers to define the next generation of our products on solid architecture, with alternate flows handled flawlessly.
● Write lots of Node.js or React Native
● Create and deploy new Android apps using the latest frameworks and best practices
● Design and build custom Android plugins and components to be used by high traffic consumer apps.
● Implement automated unit, integration, and endtoend tests
● Create pull requests, review your teammates pull requests
● Participate in design sessions with your team members, coming up with the optimum technical solution that not only meets the business requirements, but does so with performance, scalability, and maintainability in mind.
Qualifications ● Strong experience and knowledge in mobile development.
● Practical work experience in developing mobile applications at scale using React Native.
● Experience with tools like JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, or Easy Mock to create automated tests
● Experience with automated testing in JavaScript (Mocha, Chai, and Jasmine are a plus)
● Experience working in continuous delivery environments that automatically compile, test, and deploy the application every time code is committed into the git repository, using tools like Maven and a continuous integration server like Jenkins.
● Experience in agile environments using software development methodologies like Scrum, SAFE, or Kanban
Pluses ● Youve built cross platform apps in React Native or Cordova and able to also write native components for them in Swift and Java.
● Youve built cloudnative applications and micro services on Amazon AWS or Google Cloud.
● Youre familiar with Server less architecture and have deployed services AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
