Power BI lead Role

Description

Peters & Associates is a prominent, full service, IT consulting firm located in the Western suburbs of Chicago. We provide outsourced IT services including managed services, business software solutions, infrastructure and cloud support.
This position will work with clients to develop datadriven reporting and analytical solutions using primarily the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack. This includes working with endusers to collect and document business requirements, reverse engineering legacy solutions, and developing new solutions. We are looking for someone with both solid business analytics skills as well as the technical acumen and passion for turning data into actionable insights.
Job Functions Gather and document business requirements
Develop data models and ERD diagrams
Develop ETL packages with SSIS
Develop new data warehouses / databases
Create views and stored procedures to query data
Create tabular models
Install & configure SQL Server instances and data presentation applications
Create data visualizations and reports to present data using Power BI and SSRS
Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements
In order to be successful in this position, we are seeking the following experience SQL Server (2008 R2 and higher)
PSQL knowledge a bonus
Knowledge of data warehouse development and ER diagraming
Experience with Microsofts classic BI stack SSIS, SSAS (Tabular), SSRS
Experience creating and mocking data visualizations using Power BI
